Stichting TAYO promotes culture, talent development and community building from a Filipino background. Its purpose is to bring communities together by creating places for cultural exchange and connection.

What we’re building towards
Room for culture.
Room for connection.
Stichting TAYO’s ambitions begin with the people who meet through culture and shared work. We want to create opportunities that make Filipino culture visible and invite people from different backgrounds to take part. We hope to develop these ideas together with the community.
Cultural encounters
Food, music and creative work can offer a starting point for exchange. We hope to make room for encounters where people can share traditions, ask questions and discover perspectives beyond their own. The aim is participation and conversation, rather than a single story of what Filipino culture should be.
Space for talent
People bring different skills, experience and ideas. We want to explore ways for them to develop and share those talents, learn alongside one another and contribute to collective work. That could begin with a conversation about an idea and the people who might help shape it.
Community meeting places
We aspire to accessible places where communities can meet and relationships can grow through repeated encounters. A welcoming space matters, but so does the care people bring to it. We are open to conversations about spaces, expertise and collaborations that could help this ambition take shape.
