TAYO café fundraiser

Help TAYO find a home.

Help us open a Filipino community café in Amsterdam.

TAYO has grown around shared meals, creative work and community gatherings. Now we want to give those moments a permanent place: a café where people can meet, connect and come back to.

Why a café

A place to come back to.

TAYO was founded by Paulito Rondolo and Brylsel Talao as a modern Filipino community and creative collective in Amsterdam. It grew organically, from shared meals and gatherings to a network of people who cook, make music, take photographs, design and run their own work.

A permanent café would give the community somewhere to return to, bring a friend or let a new idea take shape.

We plan to open a Filipino community café with food and coffee, alongside a creative and co-working space. It will be open to everyone, whatever their background.

What your support will help fund.

  • Taking over a suitable location
  • Essential equipment and setup
  • Initial opening costs

A budget breakdown and updates will follow on GoFundMe as our plans develop.

Where we are now.

We are currently pursuing a location in Amsterdam’s Spaarndammerbuurt. It has not been secured yet, and the café is not open.

If our location or opening plans change, we will explain what that means for the campaign and the funds raised.
